Florida Bound

If I didn't know better when I woke up this morning I would have thought I was in Antarctica. No really, 1 degree WITHOUT the wind chill?! No thank you! The silver lining to this frigid weather? In 4 weeks I am heading to Florida! The boyfriend lives there so every month or so one of us flies to visit and when the temp here drops to below freezing, I am very quick to volunteer to do the traveling! The whole long-distance thing is super suck-o, but since he is an aspiring golf pro, this time of year he has to be down south and until I finish school this spring, I am stuck here. So we do what we have to do and if that means a little mini vaca here and there, well I'm just going to have to take one for the team!

So with warm weather in my near future, I have of course already begun the wish list of warm weather outfits (and swimsuits)! Here are a few of my picks:

Winter Outfit Inspiration

As mentioned previously, I have a growing Pinterest obsession. I have become particularly dependent on my trusty new pal when it comes to selecting an outfit. My philosophy has always been to always look your best when leaving the house because ya just never know who you might meet! The fashion section of Pinterest has become my new right hand man when it comes to this.

Now it is no secret that winter in New England is just about my LEAST favorite time of the year. I'm all for the snow in December for Christmas, and I can even get on board with cold for January when I want to get a few days of skiing in. But thats it! Come February I become quite the Negative Nancy right up until MAY (yes, thats right you read correctly. New England is known for the occasional April snow storm). One of the few things I enjoy about winter, however is the clothes! SO many accessorizing opportunities! Scarves,hats, mittens, layering, oh my! Here are some of my favorite looks:
